 Kanada weiß Bescheid 07. September 2011, 18:23 (Großenhain, Deutschland)
Seit ein paar Monaten höre ich CBCradio one, einen kanadischen Radiosender, der mich ein wenig auf mein Jahr einstimmen soll. Für Sheryl und ihre Zuhörer war es die Morning Show Am 27. August hörte ich, während ich meine Wohnung ausräumte, die Sendung North by Northwest mit Sheryl MacKay. Das war am Nachmittag - unserer Zeit. Für Sheryl und ihre Zuhörer war es die Morning Show. Als Sheryl ihre Zuhörer bat, Emails zu schicken, falls jemand etwas der Welt mitteilen wollte, schrieb ich sofort ein paar Zeilen. Zwanzig Minuten später hörte Kanada (und ich) dann folgendes im Radio:

Jetzt weiß Kanada Bescheid, dass ich komme und ich freu mich schon enorm, wenn es am 21. September endlich losgeht! Hier das Transkript des Radio-Beitrags zum mitlesen ☺: [...] I also had a note this morning, and I'd like to say good morning, if he's still listening, to Marcel who's listening from Germany ... from a town named Riesa. And, uh, Marcel said I'm happy I found your radio station a couple of months ago, and I've been a regular listener ever since. I really appreciate CBC for its wide range of information. Marcel is coming to Canada in September to stay for a year, and I guess this is a great preperation. CBC, a great source of information and preperation. And he wrote, after I played the music from Bryan Adams this morning, he says: Bryan Adams was in my home town many years ago. Even here twice giving two really great concerts. My sister was there, and she was overwhelmed. She even got to drink out of Bryan's water bottle after waiting for him to leave the hall after the concert. He says: I like Bryan's Summer of '69 a lot, too. Whenever it's played at a party I can't help but play along with my invisible air guitar, and Marcel says he's looking forward to coming to Canada.
